Join our knowledgable local guides on the famous Half-Collared Kingfisher Trail for a Forest hiking experience like none other. With the Touw River hosting a unique wealth of botanical and faunal diversity it is our goal to open up awareness to the sheer scale of it all. Situated in Wilderness, the gateway into the Garden Route National Park.

Trip Details

  • Cost: 500 ZAR per person (minimum for trip 1000 ZAR), 150 ZAR for children under 12, free for under 4 year olds
  • Cost Does not include Sanparks Conservation fee required to be payed at the gate * +-R50 RSA +-R150 Foreign Nationals
  • Group Discount: Available for groups of 5 or more. Contact us for larger group bookings.
  • Minimum Age: Any age is welcome 
  • Duration: Approximately 5 hours
  • Distance: Approximately 8-10 kilometres of walking.
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Time Slots: 8:30 AM or 2:30 PM, Monday to Sunday. Alternative starting times can be requested.
  • Weather: Trips proceed in most weather conditions. The route is safe in light rain.
