The longest and most stunning trail is the 14km Fynbos trail which gets close to the summit of the Rooiberge and opens up exquisite views of the many neighbouring Mountain ranges.

Each day we can take a different route offering new views and teachings from the Karoo, plus new flowers coming up in completely different ecosystems around every corner.

Abseiling & Kloofing

The abseil is 20m of unique Karoo rock formations and stunning views, starting first by climbing up a few ledges using the technique of via-ferrata a simple rock climbing method.

The Abseil is the perfect blend of adrenaline and serenity whether you’re afraid or doing it daily, it’s always good pushing the mind and overcoming fear, strengthening you in everyday life.
Dropping down into knee deep water that flows from the Assegaaybosch gorge which is the location for our canyon/kloof walk.

The walk can take up to 3 hours if the full length of the gorge is done, you’ll have a pair of water shoes and a walking stick to help with slippery rocks and balance.

The utmost care is taken when wandering into the gorge as rare fish species thrive here untouched from the outside world.
