Ich habe schon viele Canyoning-Touren in europäischen Ländern gemacht, aber noch nichts vergleichbares erlebt. Branden ist ein hochqualifizierter Guide der die Natur liebt und alle Sicherheitsaspekte beherrscht. Man wandert zu Beginn ca. 1 Stunde durch den Urwald bis zum Startpunkt des Canyonings. Dort zieht man alles notwendige Equipment an um sich anschließend 30m abzuseilen. So gelang man in den Canyon wo man an verschiedenen Stellen von den Klippen springen kann und sich im Fluss teiben lassen kann. Am Ende wandert man wieder ein kleines Stück zum Startpunkt, wo man alles Equipment aussieht um sich anschließend auf den einstündigen Rückweg zu machen. Es war einfach wunderbar. Durch eine Canyoning-Toure bei Branden schützt ihr außerdem einen wichtigen Teil der afrikanischen Wildnis. I was impressed by the systemic ecological information and the passion put in restoring the indigenous vegetation. I learned a lot about the natural medicines in this nature. The River Adventure was an absolute delight! The rocky cliffs lining the river added a stunning backdrop to the experience, leaving me utterly enchanted. Branden, our guide, was simply incredible. Not only did he ensure our safety throughout the journey, but he also created a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Despite my fear of heights, he patiently guided me through cliff jumping, and I felt invigorated after a 6-metre leap. Branden's passion and knowledge of the local environment were truly remarkable. Erst sind wir ca. 30 Minuten zum Startpunkt gewandet um uns dort aus ca. 30 Metern Höhe abzuseilen! Adrenalin pur! Im Anschluss sind wir durch den Fluss geschwommen und sind von verschiedensten Klippen gesprungen. Abschließend sind wir wieder zurück zum Startpunkt und dann bis zum Auto gewandet. Braden hat uns viel über die Pflanzen und die Natur erzählt und wir haben sogar Wildschweine und eine Schildkröte gesehen. If you're visiting the garden route, this is a must-do! 🌳 Branden is a fantastic naturalist with an extensive knowledge of the natural environment - specialising in the local flora and fauna - which makes his adventures all the more special. I highly recommend the canyoning, and also Re-wilding experiences, to get a good taste of the local environment, and through it an insight into how people lived in this area for thousands of years.
